Easirent Car Hire is owned and run by the Hanley family who have over 25 years experience in the rental industry. Their first branch was opened by the present Chairman, Nick Hanley, in 1986 in Standish on the site of the family hotel. We now have 9 branches with over 1,000 vehicles from small cars to heavy trucks.

The company is now run by Paul Hanley, the Managing Director, and all the family is still very hands on with Kate Hanley in charge of credit control and Ted Hanley the manager of our Rochdale branch. Easirent are one of the few rental companies open 7 days per week.

Minimum Rental Period 
1 day  - 3 days on Prestige Car

Age Requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years for car groups A to D, 25 years for car groups M
Minimum rental age is 30 years for a Prestige car
Maximum rental age is 75 years

Cross Border Policy
Cross Border fee: £10 per day
Mileage limits apply for overseas travel

License Requirements
The driver has to be in possession of a valid driving licence for at least 2 years (1 year if 25 years or older) and  with no major endorsements.
International renters must present a valid license from their country of residence. If the driver's license is in a language other than English, an International Driver's Permit is required in conjunction with the country of residence driver's license.

One Way Rentals
Domestic one ways are allowed. Domestic one ways are allowed to all locations for a fee of £50.

Acceptable methods of payment (direct to supplier) are:

Refueling Policy
Vehicles are hired out with £30 of fuel in the tank, which is charged at the start of the hire. Please return the vehicle empty.

Cancellation policy
Our policy regarding cancellations is that they must be made by e-mail/by telephone. Your written cancellation request must be received within a minimum of 24 hours notice in advance of the start date of the rental.

Delivery/Collection (not airports)
Delivery/pick up at all sites is free within 5 miles from our branches.

Meeting point
It is vital the client calls the branch/out of hours mobile on arrival to any airport so the shuttle bus or meet and greet can be arranged.

Airport surcharge
Delivery/pick up at the airport is free of charge.

Flight Information
If booking a car for collection at an airport location please ensure that you provide a flight number for your arrival. If you do not provide a flight number and you are late then it is possible your booking may be cancelled.

24/7 assistance is available for you. Our emergency centre will receive your call and 24/7 reachable agent will be immediately focusing on you trying to help you in our best way.

Additional Drivers
Allowed
at £5.00+vat per day capped at £100.00+vat for duration of the hire.
Maximum 99 additional drivers allowed.

Deposit
A pre-auth of £750 is taken for each hire, however they have the option to pay an additional fee to waiver the excess, which would mean no deposit is taken.

Other fees and taxes
Loss Of Key - loss of car keys or vehicle documents will be charged at £250

Driver negligence - any damage to the vehicle done by driver's negligence (burnt clutch, damage due the driving on unsealed roads, parking the car on high sidewalk curbs etc.) will be charged to the client for the FULL AMOUNT OF THE REPAIR COST.

Wrong fuel - If client used the wrong fuel when filling the car, a minimum charge of £250  applies, (or will be charged to the client for the FULL AMOUNT OF THE REPAIR COST).

Parking and speeding fines - Parking and speeding fines -Parking and speeding fines plus an administration fee of £30 will be charged to the client.

Mileage Policy
Unlimited for all UK hires. Mileage charges apply for international hires.

When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier's rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
